Want to learn basis
music theory?

Roz Beste is a Sweet Adeline from Australia
(currently singing with Brindabella Chorus in Canberra) but she grew up in the UK (Ashford in Kent). She has put together a website teaching people basic music theory, with illustrations and interactive games to play. It is a 12-week online course – one lesson per week, starting from naming the notes on the piano and treble and bass clefs and moving through to singing your first note from any key signature and it is already being used in the Australia and New Zealand Regions. It is free, although she's hoping some generous people may contribute something to her travel fund to get to the International Convention in Seattle this year if they enjoy the course! You can see more information and fill in the form on the website to sign up at:

The next course starts in the first week of April
2010. |

(Normally Youtube restricts private videos to about
25 people.
Diane Brilz of Rich
