About
Inspiring and empowering voices to joyfully harmonise the world
The QUARTET OF NATIONS is a dynamic community of singers and music-makers representing Sweet Adelines International in England, Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands. We come together regularly to celebrate singing a cappella four-part harmony in barbershop style.
Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organisation committed to elevating singers worldwide through education, performance, and competition in barbershop harmony and a cappella music. This independent, not-for-profit association is one of the world’s largest singing organisations. Members extend over five continents and belong to more than 500 choruses and 1,200 quartets. Sweet Adelines International headquarters is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the US. The organisation is divided into geographic regions, each governed by a management team—Quartet of Nations Region 31 being one of them.
Our Regional Management Team operates under the statutes of Sweet Adelines International to oversee all programmes and provide services for members in these countries such as, but not limited to:
- Convention and contest organisation attended by over 1,000 members annually
