Mixology registered with Sweet Adelines International in 2014.

Allison Calderbank (tenor) started singing in 2013. Classically trained as a concert viola and piano player, she is fascinated by the challenges of close harmony singing.

Jayne Roper (lead) has been singing all her life. She loves singing in the Cheshire A Cappella chorus bass section but her range alllows her to sing the higher lead part in Mixology. “It’s my best decision in years. I’m honoured to be part of the quartet.”

Alison Horsfield (bari) was introduced to a cappella singing by her father’s love for the King’s Singers. “I didn’t realise a cappella choruses existed until a pal mentioned she was in one. When I later spotted an ad for Cheshire A Cappella, it brought me to Mixology.”

Hilary Pinnock (bass) joined Cheshire A Cappella at the outset in 2009. She adores barbershop singing and feels privileged to sing in Mixology. “It’s such fun, we laugh too much!”
