When the COVID-19 spread in 2019, our weekly rehearsals stopped and our conventions were cancelled. Every pitch pipe went silent. But our members found ways to keep connected and continued to make music. More than a year later, we have grown closer as a community. We even expanded our borders and had the rest of the world peek at our online rehearsals and other learning opportunities. And yes, we kept on singing.
This year, we want to celebrate and pay tribute to how we kept the music going. Every chorus and quartet in the Quartet of Nations are invited to submit their story, supported with photos and videos, showing their resilience and determination to continue singing. These stories will be shared on Saturday of our 2021 Virtual Convention.
Details on how to submit have been provided to team coordinators of each chorus.
Get featured in the Afterglow party
The host of this year’s Afterglow party, Surrey Harmony, is requesting member choruses and quartets of the Quartet of Nations to submit a creative performance that was produced in the last 12 months.
