Debbie has been part of Sweet Adelines for nearly 30 years. Her dedication to Aberdeen Chorus has been outstanding and she has worked tirelessly as Team Coordinator countless times, as well as fulfilling many other roles on the Team over the years, always with a smile on her face, ensuring the chorus ran smoothly behind the scenes. Debbie once said, “the Management Team had to work hard in the background so that the music could go forth unimpeded”, never a truer word spoken.
Debbie has also been involved with Region 31 Management Team over the years, taking on various roles within the Regional Team, including Team Coordinator and the role of Regional Convention Competition Coordinator several times.
Debbie started with Aberdeen Chorus in February 1991 and is currently singing with the baritone section. During that time she has competed at Regional with two quartets, Champagne and Blue for You as baritone and tenor. Being part and parcel of the fabric of Aberdeen Chorus she embodies the Team FAberdeen spirit.
