Why nominated
Claire is a very worthy recipient of this accolade; she’s an extremely busy part of the Viva team. She is a bass part leader, secretary of the board, part of the warm-up team focussing especially on mindfulness and she records every rehearsal and send this out to the chorus to ensure everyone is up to speed on the latest nuances of our songs and what area requires extra focus.
Claire runs her own business and readily donates her time and talents to any raffle or prize for Viva. She is simply always there – front and centre (quite literally) on every occasion organising, advising, providing a listening ear and invaluable support to the leadership team (especially the president who would be lost without her) often in the background or readily administering a much needed back rub (for which she is second to none!)

Claire Mussett is originally from Norwich, Norfolk. Married to the lovely Ollie, she is the mum of 2 fabulous grown up boys, Alfred and George. She has travelled extensively and is fluent in Italian having lived in Italy for a while. Claire loves cooking, going to the gym, skiing and runs her own business, Therapy and Aroma. Many of the chorus are her clients and she is quite literally hands on (sorry, couldn’t resist!) with every part of Viva and adored by us all!
