Not only is Emily a super organised Secretary on the Millie Management Team, she works hard for the chorus, she never complains about anything, she is popular, a great friend and lovely to be around.
This year in particular Emily, as Understudy for the lead role in our Harmony Classic package, had to step into the role with 72 hours notice and did this with a grace, calmness and quiet confidence that was unbelievable, given the amount of pressure and nerves she was undoubtedly feeling.
Emily is a brilliant team player and a total professional, a true Millie, through and through! Emily never one showed what a big task it was and her ability to be flexible and adaptable put everyone at ease and gave the rest of the chorus the confidence to perform at their best.
On stage Emily was nothing short of phenomenal and blew us all away! We are so grateful to Emily for being the absolute superstar she is, we could not have done it without her, she was just incredible!
Bio
Emily joined the Millies in 2013 when she was 15 years old and instantly became a highly valued member of our Tenor section.
Emily is an incredible vocalist and musician. Emily also sings Lead in her Quartet Instigate and loves to perform.
Emily shares her life with her husband Graham and their lovely dog Pippin. Emily is currently studying to become an Educational Psychologist, after spending 5 years teaching in a Primary School.
