Why Sharon is Solent Sound’s Unsung Champion
Solent Sounds Chorus told us:
Sharon has been a member of Solent Sounds for 31 years and our Assistant Musical Director for 22 years. She’s also Tenor Section Leader and Rules and Bylaws coordinator on the Admin Board, and it doesn’t stop there! Sharon is a fantastic support for our Baritone Section Leader, who is new to the role AND she has been known to take the occasional Bass Section practice.
Our 2023 Open Division Package was written by her and she even stepped into one of the main character roles at the very last minute. Yes, she really is super cool in all situations!
Sharon has been an absolute star taking rehearsals, recently, sometimes at short notice, when Lorraine, our MD wasn’t well. She kept us on track, encouraged and supported. She’s a very special lady, a huge asset to the Chorus, our Sweet Adeline of 2024 and now a very deserving Unsung Champion! Thank you Sharon! xx
