Instigate

Formed in 2019, Instigate initially began as two tenors (one MD) and two baritones from Milltown Sound Chorus who wanted to step out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves to try something new! After trialling a couple of different part arrangements, we decided on our current line-up: Ali, Bass; Corinne, Baritone; Emily, Lead and Kim, Tenor. Since then, we have navigated zoom rehearsals during the pandemic, competed at LABBS prelims and finals, sang at chorus events and most recently sang at our Emily’s wedding. This is our first year competing as a Sweet Adeline’s quartet and we can’t wait to cross the stage in our home city of Manchester, making it an extra special weekend!
