NG4 Quartet takes its name from the vibrant NG4 district of Nottingham. Formed by three original members of Perfect 4th Quartet — Jo Bird (Bass), Mandy Willson (Lead) and Esther Boyd (Tenor) — the group has now welcomed its newest voice, Aimee Sallis, stepping into the Baritone role with energy, talent, and the enthusiasm of a true quartet “newbie.”
Aimee joins Jo and Esther as a proud member of Lace City Chorus, where she actually sings Lead in Chorus Life, bringing a fresh blend of musicality and versatility to the mix. With rehearsals mostly taking place in the NG4 area, and two members calling it home, the name felt like the perfect fit: rooted in place, community, and the shared joy of singing together.
NG4 Quartet is built on friendship, harmony, and a love of ringing chords. A new chapter for familiar voices, now enriched by a bright new addition.
